Print Operator/ Junior Graphic Designer

**Job Summary**:
Our Company based in Meadowdale, Germiston is looking for a Print Operator/ Junior Graphic Designer. Applicant needs to have knowledge/ Experience with large print formats.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Operates various types of printing machines including large format Mimaki, UV Printers, Print press and plotters.
- Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of print jobs.
- Determines quantities required for print job.
- Matches colours for print job per job request.
- Aligns and configures machinery.
- Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of printings.
- Maintains inventory of supplies needed to operate printing machines.
- Troubleshoots issues with printing machine and makes basic repairs.
- Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.
- Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Occasionally Designing/ Assisting senior designers
- Familiar with design software A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail Excellent communication skills
- Meet deadlines
- Ability to work methodically

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work under pressure as we are in a fast pace environment.

**Salary**: R7,000.00 per month
