Supervisor: New Vehicle Distribution Centre

The NVD supervisor will supervise the daily management of the NVD team which includes the systems and domestic sales order teams. Working in a team, you will be responsible for your individual tasks and will need to be able to work independently.

Knowledge and experience in the automotive industry (OEM environment) and/or forwarding and clearing will be advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The New Vehicle Distribution Centre Supervisor will be responsible for: supervising and managing:
- Order fulfillment (Wholesale)
- Pipeline Management
- Firm understanding of the client's production "Flexibility Concepts" and the implementation roadmap
- Constant written & verbal dealer liaison
- Vehicle Tracking including production, accessory fitment, financial release, and vehicle delivery
- Manage and reduce NSA Aged Inventory for assigned Product Group(s) Speedy problem resolution
- Any ad hoc tasks and reporting required
- Supervising and managing a system support team
- Manage and release vehicles of price validation
- Create/ Maintain material and customer master data
- System alignment
- Correction and returns
- Reporting
- Reporting for NVD
- Management of SoluGrowth's SLA with the client linked to the team's performance
- Manage the deliverable of six (6) team members and ensure that they comply with the agreed KPIs

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Matric and NQF 7 qualification in logistics or finance
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience in OEM environment preferable
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Computer literacy
- Advanced Excel
- Knowledge of SAP system beneficial (SD, including Creation of Financial Documents)
- Database management (Access, SQL)
