**VACANCY ALERT FOR A SOLAR SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN**

**_ Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng_**
**_Remuneration: R20 000.00 - R30 000.00 per month (experience and skills dependent)_**
**_Reporting to: Operations and IT Executive_**

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Own transport.
- Willing to travel between job sites and possible outside of Gauteng if required.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS**
- Excel (non-negotiable).
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Knowledge and experience in sales.

**DUTIES**
- Designing and overseeing installations for solar or backup energy systems.
- Ability to do electrical installations to a certified standard and sign off Certificate of compliance’s

(COC).
- Oversee all troubleshooting and warranty claim issues related to solar system that have been

installed.
- Work with customers to train them on the systems and to get sign offs from the customers.
- Work with installation companies and ensure they comply to the company standards and hold

them to their warranty periods on all installations done.
- Provision of energy auditing equipment and create reports off the data gathered.
- Work with suppliers to troubleshoot issues and test new products in the industry.
