Embroidery Digitizer

**Scope**:We are currently looking for an Embroidery digitizer who will be responsible for operating embroidery machinery to complete projects, working from electronic documents to create art based on job requirements

**Qualifications and work experience**
- Matric
- Diploma in graphic design
- 3 Years embroidery digitizing experience.
- Computer skills
- Wilcom
- Corel Draw

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Select and specify the threads to be used for each design.
- Sew and edit digitized embroidery.
- Stock threads, fabrics and other materials for embroidery.
- Maintain up-to-date record of all embroidery designs.
- Maintain workflow list and ensure all projects are completed by the time frame established.
- Prepare embroidery designs for manufacturing plant usage
- Develop artwork visuals and communicate to relevant sales/clients regarding limitations, to obtain layout approvals
- Make amendments based on customer feedback
- Understand Pantones and Thread colours
- Setup print ready files in line with products.
- Produce print files to scale
- Print files to match approved layouts

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Germiston, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- CorelDraw: 2 years (required)
- Embroidery Digitizing: 3 years (required)
