Senior Technical Analyst - Johannesburg North - Fourways

A Software Development Company based in
**Jhb North (Fourways)** is urgently looking for a
**Senior Technical Analyst** to join their growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Comprehensively understand the functional and technical capabilities of the systems in your area of expertise.
- Assist with the analysis, documentation, and maintenance of the functional and technical capabilities for your respective area.
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the functional and technical areas they serve including architectures, interfaces, data models, and functional capabilities.
- Provide input for the preparation of the business cases, specs, and scopes of work for opportunities and projects within your area of competence and involvement.
- Monitor and adjust requirements gathering activities at a business and technical level to ensure requirements align accurately with the business requirements.
- Ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into functional requirements and technical capabilities which are complete, clear, correct, and consistent.
- Identify and communicate gaps in business requirements.
- Create business and functional test plans to be executed by self or other team members.

**Requirements**:

- Good understanding of basic SQL and ability to write and execute queries.
- Intermediate competence in at least one of the following programming languages: C#, Java

- Ability to work in a team environment
