Job description

Responsible for ensuring that high quality standards are met through evaluation, designing and preparing detailed specifications for larger complex Unified Communication Solutions that are in alignment assisting with Pre-Sales Customer proposals and Tender Responses as well as mentoring other Voice engineers.Be knowledgeable in Information Technology Solutions, specifically Telecommunications network architecture and technologies.

Keep up to date with ICT Trends (Access, Transport, WAN, LAN, related technology software and hardware) and understand competitive landscape and market share. IP routing and switching skills.
Risk Management; Financial Management; Business Development; People Management, Product Portfolio Management.
Relevant Degree (NQF 7) in Business or Information Technology or related

OR

Grade 12, NQF Level 4
CCIE (Cisco Certified Collab Engineer).
Cisco Voice qualifications - Collab / DEVNet Voice qualified.

Qualification in other Voice technologies’ will be considered7 years relevant experience in an IT environment of which at least (4) four years in a Voice Network and or Unified Communications environment.

9 years relevant experience in IT environment of which at least (4) four years in a Voice Network and or Unified Communications environment and 2 years’ experience in leading teams
- In addition, the following experience will be advantageous:

- Experience in designing ICT solutions and development of network strategies
Manage and Support Cisco UCS system, and possibly other voice technologies, on an Advisory advanced skills level
