Registered Nurse

Our client is seeking **Registered and Enrolled Nurses** for a professional clinic based in Simons Town. Must have addiction or psychiatric experience. Separate clinics and focused on the international market, adult clinic for addiction clients and young adult’s clinic, assisting with various mental health issues. Seeking the best team players to be part of this organisation to start immediately.

**Duties include the following, but not limited to**
- Ordering and issuing of medication.
- Accurate recording of all nursing related documentation daily.
- Recording of all nursing interactions on an online based medical server.
- Accompanying clients to doctors, dentist, blood services and any other services.
- You will be expected to be able to connect clients online to doctors and social workers online via various platforms, Teams/Zoom.
- Daily nursing tasks, including but not limited to, monitoring clients at mealtimes, monitoring clients with eating disorders, monitoring clients with suicidal and self-harm potential.
- You will be expected to handle all admissions efficiently and professionally, ensuring new clients are made welcome, safe, and settled into their bedrooms with no delays.
- You will be expected to take clients shopping on a Saturday morning and go with clients on various outings on a Sunday.
- Undertake any other duties as delegated by the Nursing Manager

**Requirements**:

- A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing/B Cur Degree)
- Registration with SANC
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills
- Committed to clinical excellence.
- Effective client care
- Hours of work will be 12 hours per shift, day, and night shift.
- Must have own transport.
- Live in the Southern Peninsula area

**Salary**:Market related, depending on experience.

**Salary**: From R19,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Southern Peninsula, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- nursing: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Nursing Council registration (required)
