Purchases and Returns Clerk

The Purchase and Returns Clerk is a vital position in the value chain at Brand Hubb. This person will be responsible for ensuring that all products sold at the various e-stores get to customers on time and in the proper condition, and that any returns are processed to the customer and from the supplier. They will need to ensure that all product information is correctly captured into various systems. Therefore this is not a template role, but rather one requiring abilities in purchasing, logistics, data capture and project management.

In this role you will:

- Prepare purchase orders and make sure stock arrives on schedule and on spec;
- Manage returns to suppliers and managing refunds;
- Log and keep track of purchases, dispatches and returns;
- Count stock, evaluate expiry and provide input on warehouse items;
- Handle inquiries about orders, dispatches, returns and refunds;
- Capture purchase and return information into various systems, incl. Excel and Sage.
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.

**Education & Work Experience**
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant diploma/degree in Logistics, Purchasing, Warehouse Management
- At least two years’ experience in purchasing and/or warehouse management.
- Sage Evolution experience advantageous
