- The position is responsible for providing technical leadership in company’s Digital training curriculum and methodology.
- The role ensures training is delivered at a leading industry standard.
- The Head of Digital Education oversees the technical training team to deliver the most up-to-date content in a student-centric and workplace-simulated manner and informs the technical training content strategy.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for leading, developing and implementing an innovative digital content strategy that is consistent with company’s holistic development model.
- Represent company’s digital training at a senior level to both internal and external stakeholders.
- To provide strong leadership and team building in the management of digital content, innovative delivery and integrated assessment with company’s professional skills curriculum
- Effectively manage and acquire appropriate departmental resources, including staff recruitment and development.
- Ensure that all staff in the department operate to the expected level of performance. Address underperformance with the support of HR where necessary.
- Remain informed of Africa’s digital training gaps, technical career opportunities and learner-specific needs in order to develop innovative training content.
- Support and motivate learners, digital trainers and other digital team employees, encouraging consultation and discussion
- Lead on identifying strategic areas for new training provision and staff requirements
- Promote the use of a range of methods and techniques in teaching, learning and assessment as appropriate for the delivery of contemporary, innovative, confidence-building and practical programmes
- Own the development path for the company digital team, including gap analysis and pipeline planning.
- Manage company’s IT department and assessments, balancing productivity, costs and training innovation.**Inherent Requirements**

**Qualifications**
- A tertiary qualification - postgraduate degree or equivalent desirable
- Computer Science or Education related qualifications are preferable
- Experience in successful team leadership and management
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders
- Experience in ICT training (Edtech, corporate or formal academic will be considered)
- At least 3 years leadership experience, managing a diverse team
- Continuous ICT learning evidenced through recent certifications/self-study
