**Verulam, KZN. **Opportunity exists for competent Creditors Clerk with at least 3-5 years relevant creditors experience to join established and dynamic contractor within the construction industry. Must have knowledge and experience working on Pastel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete the full creditors function up to supplier statement, reconciliations, and age analysis
- Capture invoices on Sage Pastel within set deadlines
- Preparing full creditor audit file which will be reviewed by the Finance Manager before external audits
- Support Financial Managers and Director with any creditor queries
- Assist Financial Managers with audit queries relating to suppliers
- Perform full audit of invoices and ensure all invoices have approved orders before processing
- Follow up with suppliers and managers
- Ensure all invoices have the correct VAT numbers
- Complete fuel recon daily
- Compile payment requisitions and attached invoices, reconciliations, and supplier ledger to payment batch

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Financial Diploma advantageous
- Minimum 3-5 years Creditors Clerk experience with good knowledge of VAT processing
- Solid Pastel experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Civil Construction experience advantageous
- Ability to work in a team
- Deadline driven individual who can work in a high-pressure environment
