Sales Representative

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric or equivalent & diploma or equivalent post matric qualification in Marketing from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales function; Understanding of the product & / or hardware retail trade would be beneficial
- Solid understanding of customer service fundamentals
- Organised with strong administrative ability and attention to detail
- Dynamic with ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with customers at various levels & contribute during meetings to clearly articulate or communicate a point
- Must be prepared to work after hours as & when the job requires
- Team player within a production & sales team environment

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

Selling timber products to customers within a defined regional target market with a defined product mix ensuring that superior service and quality standards are maintained in support of the company Vision, Mission and Values Secure and then maintain an in-depth understanding of customer’s operations aimed at servicing their timber product needs through ongoing interaction with operations in support of production processes.. Perform sales tasks within the company procedures & policies.

- Daily pre
- Order taking and make sales offers.
- Monitoring orders, stock & dispatching, by planning, controlling, prioritizing and directing customer orders.
- Following sales and marketing strategies / policies / controls as implemented by management.
- Ensuring high service levels to customers.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the product range & production processes.
- As the company and brand ambassador, portray the company image in the market of
- Interact with customers in a professional, trustworthy and honest manner maintaining a high level of integrity.
