Durban North. National company has a vacancy for a storeman with at least 3 years’ experience experience, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment to join their company.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 12 qualification
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team

**Duties included but not limited to**:

- Receive incoming goods, verify against invoices or orders, and ensure accurate documentation
- Store goods in designated locations, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed to prevent damage or deterioration
- Maintain inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and reordering supplies as needed
- Monitor stock movement and update inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs
- Assist with inventory audits and investigate discrepancies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, including shelving, bins, and storage racks
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to fulfill orders and support operational requirements
