The **Junior IT Technician** oversees the first level support requests that come in from our clients. They are the first to touch a helpdesk ticket on site or remote. They must make sure that the issue is managed quickly, and the client is informed of what to expect every step of the way

Required Experience

An understanding of **support tools**, techniques and how technology is used to provide services

Good **IT hardware and infrastructure knowledge**.

N+ or A+

Experience in setting up and managing - **Managed Networks (VLan’s)**

Experience in dealing with ISP’s for support and problem solving

Must be able to type quickly and accurately while talking on the phone

A deep desire to deliver an amazing Client Experience

Knowledge of IT and Voice Applications, Software & Hardware

The ability to speak both Geek **and** human

IT literate - Advanced user level

Driver’s license

The ability to keep up with & adapt to the fast-paced IT world

If any skills lacking, the understanding to increase proficiency levels at a fast pace

You will be expected to pass and gain certain skills and certifications related to your job descriptions

**Desired**

Professional IT Certifications such as Microsoft MCP, MCSA or MCSE, ITIL, ITSM, etc.

Experience working either on a Helpdesk or for a Voice Provider, Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT Support Business.
