Marketing Assistant

**Job description**:
Business School Netherlands, a Dutch University of Applied Sciences with an international support office in Cape Town, is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual for a marketing assistant position.

**Probation period**: 6 months at full remuneration

**Work mode**:On-site, with a possibility of hybrid once probation period is completed

**Interview process**: 1st round online interviews, 2nd round personal interview with marketing aptitude tests

**Marketing Assistant Responsibilities**:
Working with the marketing coordinator and sales teams to support student recruitment efforts and brand building

Managing social media channels and online communities (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram)

Basic design work

Alumni outreach efforts and article writing (copywriting)

Supporting the marketing coordinator with weekly marketing reports and lead tracking

Assist marketing coordinator with drafting and updating sales and marketing templates

Assisting with live chat and direct messenger enquiries

Ad hoc marketing related tasks

Hours: 8:30 - 17:00 Mon to Thursday, 8:30 - 16:00 Friday

**Marketing Assistant Requirements**:
Completed diploma or degree qualification in a relevant field such as marketing/communications/business

Computer literate - Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Basic design skills would be an advantage e.g. Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

Basic knowledge of major social media platforms

Proficiency in spoken and written English non-negotiable. Any additional local or foreign languages would be an advantage as we deal with a large international market

Ability to work as part of a diverse and energetic team

Attention to detail and organized

**Location**: 8 Essenhout Crescent, Plattekloof, Cape Town

**Salary**: R11,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month
