The XVA trading desk is part of the Structured Trading (ST) line of business focused on managing counterparty credit risk (CVA), funding risk (FVA), Initial Margin (IM/MVA) and capital risk (KVA) in the Bank’s derivatives portfolio. XVA traders are engaged in a broad range of functions including pricing, hedging, risk analysis and optimization across various derivative products including rates, FX, commodities, credit and equities across SA and ARO. The XVA desk plays a pivotal role in the daily market making process for OTC derivatives, and plays a lead role within the Bank in the interpretation and quantification of industry changes to derivatives pricing, whether driven by market and/or regulatory forces. The role would primarily focus on credit capital build out.

**Job Description**:
This role is suited to an individual with a minimum 4 year degree educated (Hons/MSc), in a quantitative field such as Math, engineering or Physics coupled with 5 years plus experience working as a Trader within an Asset Manager where specific focus has been on the Banking Book. In-depth knowledge of Commodities/Equities/Credit/Fixed Income/Options/XVA valuations. Must have a strong analytical ability or technical concentration including analysis of market patterns and ability to perform under pressure, think and make decisions in short timeframes and prioritize as required.
