**Roles and Responsibilities.**

**Financial Planning**:
Analyze clients' financial situations, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and risk tolerance. Develop comprehensive financial plans, including investment strategies, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, and insurance coverage. Regularly review and update financial plans based on changes in clients' circumstances and market conditions.

**Client Relationship Management**:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, establishing trust and understanding their financial goals and objectives. Conduct thorough financial assessments and gather relevant information to develop personalized financial plans.

**Investment Advice and Portfolio Management**:
Provide investment recommendations aligned with clients' risk tolerance, financial goals, and time horizon. Conduct research and analysis to identify suitable investment opportunities and asset allocation strategies. Monitor and manage clients' investment portfolios, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance and manage risk.

**Retirement Planning**:
Help clients determine their retirement goals and develop strategies to achieve them. Provide guidance on retirement savings vehicles, such as 401(k) plans, IRAs, and annuities. Estimate retirement income needs, evaluate Social Security benefits, and create withdrawal strategies.

**Risk Management and Insurance**:
Assess clients' insurance needs, including life insurance, health insurance, disability insurance, and long-term care insurance. Advise clients on appropriate insurance coverage to protect against potential risks. Review existing insurance policies and recommend necessary adjustments.

**Tax Planning**:
Offer guidance on tax-efficient strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax-saving opportunities. Collaborate with tax professionals to optimize clients' overall financial strategies.

**Financial Education and Communication**:
Educate clients on various financial topics, investment concepts, and financial market trends. Communicate complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner. Conduct regular client meetings and provide progress reports to review financial plans and address any questions or concerns.

**Professional Development**:
Stay abreast of industry trends, financial products, and regulations through continuous learning and professional development. Obtain necessary licenses, certifications, and registrations to comply with regulatory requirements.

**Qualification and Experience**

Grade 12

Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) "Fit and Proper" requirements

**Knowledge and Skills**

Financial advice and support

Production target achievement and budgeting

Compliance and risk management

Client relationship management

Financial planning and recommendations
