ob Overview: As the General Manager of Hotel Apartments in Johannesburg, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property's operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and achieving financial and operational goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operational Leadership:

- Provide leadership and guidance to all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage (if applicable).
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage daily hotel operations to ensure efficiency and quality service delivery.
- Guest Experience:

- Ensure a high standard of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and promote repeat business.
- Financial Management:

- Develop and manage the hotel's annual budget.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement cost-control measures and revenue-enhancing strategies.
- Sales and Marketing:

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through pricing and occupancy management.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
- Human Resources:

- Recruit, train, and manage a skilled and motivated team.
- Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and hotel policies.
- Property Maintenance:

- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the property.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are in place and followed.
- Coordinate renovations and capital improvement projects.
- Compliance and Regulations:

- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national regulations and laws.
- Maintain records and documentation as required by authorities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a General Manager in the hotel industry, preferably in apartment-style accommodations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Financial acumen and the ability to analyze and manage budgets.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
