Automotive Machinist (must come out of Automotive Sector)

Perform various machinist activities at the automotive section in the factory: Re-bore, Line-bore, Crankshaft grinding, Recondition of Cylinder Heads and Connecting Rods.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Trade Test Certificate Tested by an accredited institution.

Minimum of 3-5 years working experience as an Automotive Machinist.

JOB OUTPUTS

Re-bore, Line-bore, Crankshaft grinding, Recondition of Cylinder Heads and Connecting Rods.

Ability to work on horizontal boring mill, lathe and milling machine

Participate in the implementation of the Production Management Systems in the factory ( ISO 9001 )

Perform various machinist activities at the automotive section in the factory.

Complete all job-related admin, i.e. Control Sheets, Job cards, Stores Requisitions, Quality Control Sheets etc.

Good knowledge of tools.

Knowledge of safety standards

Knowledge of the OHS Act

Knowledge of ISO9001

Knowledge of an industrial workshop environment

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Time management skills

Diagnostic and Fault-finding skills

Ability to work on horizontal boring mill, lathe and milling machine

Have good work ethics.

Willing to work after hours if required.

Ability to work in a team.

Ability to handle multi tasks.
