**Capital Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the development and maintenance of actuarial data sources.
- Identify opportunities for improved data use and more insightful actuarial analysis.
- Manage quarterly and year-end solvency capital requirements.
- Produce required QRTs and financial reporting outputs.
- Develop and embed an effective capital management framework.
- Provide recommendations on capital optimisation related to reinsurance, investment, and business strategy
- Lead the calculation of Solvency II risk margins and IFRS17 risk adjustment.

**Other**:

- Mentor and manage team members, ensuring quality work.
- Automate processes for data preparation, reporting, and visualisation.
- Support reinsurer requests and maintain professional qualifications.

**You Will Be**:

- Studying towards a Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) or equivalent actuarial exams.
- Significant non-life capital modelling experience.
- Analytical mindset with commercial awareness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, autonomous, and able to deputize for the Head of Capital.
