**CASHBOOK CLERK/BOOKKEEPER**

Caprichem is a well-established chemical company that specializes in industrial chemicals and

contract manufacturing, bringing the highest quality products to the South African market since the early 1995's.

We are looking for an Honest, reliable Bookkeeper/Cashbook Clerk to join

our accounting team at our office in Blackheath.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**ENGISH AND AFRIKAANS A MUST**

Matric (High School Diploma),

Relevant certifications (bookkeeping, etc)

5 years' experience in a similar role

3 years’ experience debtors & creditors clerk experience

Experience working with financial accounting systems

Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills

Excellent communication skills

Honesty and integrity coupled with reliability

Computer literate (MS office)

Able to communicate verbally and in writing

Time management skills

Ability to work under pressure

Good business understanding as well as understanding of impact of role on business

Attention to detail and high accuracy levels

**DUTIES**

Processing and reconciliation of Cashbooks

Processing of Petty Cash

Reconciling of Shops Turnover sheets

Shop visits once a month (Western Cape)

Loading of Payments on Standard Bank

Insurance claims

Prepare month-end management financial reports

Request City of Cape Town accounts

Make sure we have valid TCC and Letter of Good standing

Cash up Drivers when needed

Assist in Debtors Department when Debtors clerk is on leave.

Ad Hoc Accounting duties.

Assist Accountant when needed

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R21,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuils River, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
