High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational or technical school training preferred.

Assemble, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

The experienced solar sales representative should have a proven track record of selling turnkey solar systems.

Assembling and installing solar panels on roofs and other structures.

Configuring PV systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid.

Following building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures.

Inspecting electrical installation and wiring.

Testing operating voltages; calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power limits.

Ensuring that equipment is weather sealed.

Performs routine maintenance on PV systems and other related duties as assigned.

**Skills required**:
Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.

Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read building plans, equipment manuals and to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.

Own car and valid driver's license.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
