Senior Claims Administrator

PREFERENCES:
- A minimum of 5 years claims experience on binder and non binder.
- RE5 (Not compulsory)
- Class of Business - Commercial Lines (Not compulsory)
- Full qualifications NQF4 (with relevant FAIS credits) (Not compulsory)
- Preferred system experience - TIAL (Not compulsory)
**Responsibilities**:
- Receive and finalise claims instructions from clients, brokers and all other
stakeholders, as outlined in agreed service level agreement.
- Interpret and process technical short term insurance related information.
- Capture and update all tasks into task management system
- All claims related documentation to be collated and saved in respective
record keeping repositories.
- Maintain effective relationships with all internal and external parties on a
day to day basis.
- Develop relationships with clients and ensure consistent high levels of
service delivery.
- Client retention.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the short term insurance industry
legislation/regulations/compliance.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and the ability to work under pressure.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Maintain the company ethos and values.
