**Interpersonal factor**

It is expected from the employee to deliver all the tasks reflecting a willingness to operate outside the scope of the job description as per operational requirements. **Management of the switchboard**
- Answering of telephones.
- Screening of all calls
- Directing calls to appropriate department/person in a multidisciplinary team
- Taking and delivering of messages
- Resolving of basic patient queries in the unit.
- Upkeep of updated telephone lists
- Management of answering machine
- Professional response to all telephonic enquiries with immediate appropriate response
- Availability of accurate updated telephone lists
- Timeous management of messages left on machine
**Assist with clerical work**
- Assist with file preparation/scanning/faxing/filing
- Use of office equipment computers, photocopying machines, faxes etc.
- Ad hoc admin duties as and when required including assisting Medical Secretaries in case of staff crisis with scanning, copying, faxing, etc.
- Being the office runner when needed.
- Accurate and timeous file preparation
- Building capacity
**Required minimum education**:
Grade 12
**Required minimum experience**:
3 Months of telephony experience, MS Office experience
**Required minimum work-related experience**:
3 Months
