_**Department: Despatch**_
- **Reporting to: DC Manager**_
- **Purpose The purpose of this job is to assist in the efficiency and effectiveness of the wholesale division by ensuring all administration tasks are completes timeously. This will result in achieving customer satisfaction, in order to generate sales and promote the business and create sustainable growth.**_

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Daily capturing of transfers for the group onto the drivers logsheet
- Ensure the daily logsheet of duties are completed and handed to the Supervisor.
- Ensure that all stock arranged to be despatched to other branches (all stock items must be accompanied with correct documentation)
- Ensure all filing are done daily
- Ensure the capturing of despatch report are completed
- Ensure all stock are sorted and grouped by branch
- Ensure all stock are checked and correspond with transfer document before it is packed onto the relevant branch pallet
- Ensure all stock are packed and palletised after being check
- Ensure that the despatch department is not left unattended at anytime
- Liaise with Store with regards to stock transfer
- Maintain house - keeping standards at all times
- Participate in perpetual stock takes
- Any work - related tasks as delegate by superior

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric or Equivalent
- 3 years in stock related function
- 2 years’ experience in the industry
- 5 years minimum stock handling experience
- 5years stock procedure knowledge
- Competent with internal Touchpoint system
- Planning, time management & organizing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) at all levels
- Ability to handle pressure
- Computer skills - Microsoft office (Internet, E-mails, Word & Excel)
- Policy and procedure driven
- Accuracy, discipline, and motivation
