Our client is a an emerging market **mobile operator** at the forefront of technological and digital changes. As a Telco based in South Africa with a global footprint, our client prides itself on** innovation**,** **diversity** and taking **Cyber Security seriously**. The company is trying to get ahead of the trend and staff up an entirely new team within their Cyber Security department.

Our client is looking for a **Consultant - Cyber Security Forensic and Incident Investigator** **to form part of their InfoSec Security Operations and BRM Forensics team. You will be part of the development and implementation of the security forensics process and from time to time conduct digital forensics investigations.

**What you will be doing**:

- Do forensic investigations on computers, servers and networks
- Report writing of ongoing or completed investigations
- Be proficient with the handling of evidence, forensic practices and procedures
- Conduct live analysis on networks and other platforms
- Perform research and develop threat profiles
- Provide technical support for the risk management program
- Identify the root cause of a compromise by doing IR activities
- Be part of implementing the NIST Cyber Security Framework (Detect, Respond and Recover)
- Be part of the development of Respond and Recovery Procedures and Policies.

**What we are looking for in you**:

- You have knowledge of operating systems, information systems security, network architecture, database concepts, document management, hardware and software components
- You have worked with tools such as Guidence Software EnCase and/or Access Data Forensics Tool Kit
- You keep up to date with latest exploitation tools, attack techniques, procedures and trends
- You have one of the following certifications: CISSP, GCIH, ACE, EnCe, GCFA, GCFE
- 4+ years of work experience in IT, Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
- You have previously worked in the telecom industry
- You are willing to travel within Africa and the Middle East.
