Carpenter

**ONLY CVS WITH QUALIFICATIONS AND TRADETEST CERTIFICATES WILL BE CONSIDERED**
- Perform skilled carpentry work in the construction, repair, and maintenance of structures, fixtures, furniture, and other wooden items.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and materials needed.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials according to project specifications.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, chisels, planes, and sanders, to complete carpentry tasks.
- Install and repair doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, flooring, and other wooden components.
- Construct and install frameworks, including walls, partitions, and roof structures.
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all carpentry work, paying attention to details and following established standards.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Estimate project costs, including materials and labor, and provide accurate timeframes for completion.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and materials to enhance carpentry skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
