**INHERENT REQUIREMENTS**
- PSIRA GRADE B
- Grade 12
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reaction certificate
- A firearm Competency certificate is highly recommended
- 2 years minimum experience in the security industry
- Be able to relocate from one unit to another
- Clean criminal record per police clearance required.
- Able to work shifts, day/night.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Be able to peruse the occurrence book and escalate reports accordingly.
- People management skills
- Good communication skills
- Multitasking skills
- Knowledge of on-the-job training
- Must be flexible
- Understand how to use an occurrence book (peruse and gather information)
- Leadership skills
- Report writing skills
- Always be in sober senses

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring any shift coverages and enforcing teamwork in his/her shift.
- Be able to compile shift reports
- Management of absenteeism and take actions as per disciplinary code of conduct.
- To lead, command and give directions to officers per job description.
- To be in constant communication with the Operation Manager or Area Coordinator.
- To cascade all instructions from senior management to the guard force.
- To discipline the guard force, recommend personnel performance and deployment of staff as per their abilities.
- To conduct on-the-job training and teach members as per company values (SCORRE)
- To conduct a risk assessment and report to Operation Manager.
- Recommend promotions and dismissals.
- Keeping records of vehicle performance and reporting to the Operation Manager any discrepancies.
- Keep due service kilos at all times.
- Record every incident attended on-site and escalate to Operation Manager.

**GENERAL**

Working hours: Nature of the business requires 24-hour availability

**Salary**: Negotiable depending on experience
