**FACULTY HEAD: ETD (EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT)**

**Inherent requirements**:

- National Diploma: Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices, NQF Level 5
- A post-graduate qualification in education is a distinct advantage
- 3 to 5 years senior management experience with multiple task responsibilities - including budgeting, people management, customer service, planning, organising, and controlling
- Valid assessor and moderator scope with relevant SETA (essential)
- Experience in distance and online learning and the use of Moodle LMS (Learner Management System) or similar
- Relevant, up to date workplace experience in the Education, Training and Development sector
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Computer literate (MS Office)

**Preferred requirements and skills**:

- Project management experience
- Working knowledge of skills development, learnerships, reporting requirements, and education legislation and policy
- Programme development and teaching and learning in area of expertise

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Controlling functional area budgets with the functional heads, ensuring plans are achieved on time and at desired level of quality
- Ensuring staff are on track and skilled to perform the jobs they are required to do
- Programme development and quality assurance in Higher Education and occupations
- Teaching and learning responsibilities including teaching, assessment, lecturing and materials development
- Ongoing administration related to teaching and learning activities

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R55,000.00 per month

- Honours (preferred)

**Experience**:

- senior management: 3 years (required)
- Education, Training and Development: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Valid assessor and moderator scope with relevant SETA (required)
