Internship Opportunity to be trained as an Ophthalmic Assistant in an Ophthalmology Practice: Northcliff, Gauteng

An Ophthalmology Practice in Northcliff, Gauteng is looking for a young, dynamic and ambitious person who would want to commence a career as an Ophthalmic Assistant. In-house training will be provided by the Ophthalmologist and his team on the following duties:

- Testing according to patients ailments and history
- Attend to reporting and electronic Medical notes where necessary
- Assist with in-room procedures
- Follow the necessary protocols and ensure equipment is sterile and cleanliness of the practice is adhered to
- Provide patient education based on the diagnosis and patient needs

Skills Required:

- Afrikaans (preference)
- Excellent computer skills
- Team player
- Reliable and high work ethic
- Willing to learn
- Enthusiastic and committed
