Maternity cover from January to April 2025

The Vetshop Manager will be in charge of all operational aspects of the shop, including, but not limited to;
- Working the morning shift on the till, packing shelves. An active and hands-on approach is required
- Resolving any maintenance and technical issues (Operational experience a benefit)
- Health & safety of customers and staff
- Displays to maximise product awareness
- Staff rosters which best manage customer demand and cost to company
- All aspects of HR according to SA labour law
- Stock management including stocktakes, stock rotation to limit stock losses

Retail Requirements:

- Staff operational training and staff product training (in accordance to South African Veterinary Council requirements)
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers, staff and customers

Own Transport is required

**Job Type**: Temporary

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Claremont, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
