**Job Description**:

- Manage assembly and moulding and departmental staff
- Check and maintain quality of the finish goods, implement required processes to improve quality.
- Assist with planning, setup and problem solving of machines related issues and QCDSM ( Cause&Effect and 5y)
- Implement processes and procedures for Continuous Improvement, to improve productivity, efficiencies, EHSQ within the department
- Monitor machine check cycle times and output; identify possible issues related and report to Technical and R&D Foreman
- Plan production shifts, weekends and overtime as per S&OP requirements ( Assembly and moulding)
- Reduce production stoppages and maintain 85% OEE within assembly and 92% in moulding
- Maintain a safe working environment, Identify safety issues and ensure they are resolved accordingly
- Ensure operator safety and operation of machines/ equipment. ( Zero harm to all)
- Reduce scrap and deliver below agreed scrap volume and value targets at all times and maintain world class housekeeping standards including 5s requirements the in the plant
- Ensure production declarations and monitoring on JDE
- Ensure safety of all, priority.

**Key Performance Indicators**:

- Ensure production targets are met by managing staff, leasing with engineering team to ensure staff and equipment are running optimally and effectively thus eliminating unnecessary downtime
- Leadership and interpersonal skills

- Ensure machine Efficiency and scrap rates are met
- Positive people engagement and delivering SMART objectives
- Cost management
- Organization skills and efficiency

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Production or Operations Management (compulsory)
- Grade 12 (compulsory)
- Supervisor and production management courses will be advantageous
- At least 5 years working experience managing people and processes
- Must have worked in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Technical experience will be an advantage
- Microsoft suite proficient
- Stock controlling/ JDE
- Be aware of and maintain machine outputs/performances to reach maximum Overall Equipment Efficiency.(OEE)
- Good understanding of ISO standards and works instructions and procedures
- Training of operators on quality management system, work instructions and procedures.
- Good understanding and knowledge of HSE( health safety and environment) in the workplace
- Good understand of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, 14001 will be a advantage
