**Locum Responsible Pharmacist, Brackendowns, Gauteng**

An opportunity exists for an experienced Locum Responsible Pharmacist to run a retail pharmacy in Brackendowns, Gauteng.

**Requirements**:

- Attend to all the required functions of running a pharmacy
- Review and dispense medication according to physician prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
- Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
- Attend to the delivery, stocktake and organisation of medication with the necessary quality controls
- Engage in a professional manner with customers ensuring a high standard of customer service delivery
- Accurate record keeping

**Qualification and skills**:

- BPharm Degree
- 5 - 10 years experience as a Responsible pharmacist
- Experience working in a retail environment will be an advantage
- Knowledge of legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
- Registration with Pharmacy Council
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.

**Working hours (retail hours on shifts)**:
**Monday - Friday, flexible hours to be discussed.
