**The opportunity**:
We are currently seeking highly motivated **Hydrogeology Superintendent **to lead a team responsible for collection and analysis of underground and surface hydrological data, design and implementation of dewatering, hydrological modelling, management of consultants and all the required reports

**About the Role / Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise hydrogeological/hydrological assessments, including planning, coordination and execution of field investigations.
- Carry out comprehensive data collection, analysis and interpretation of hydrogeological information in order to characterize subsurface conditions.
- Develop stormwater management plans for operations and oversee implementation of plans to minimize the impact of surface water runoff on mining operations.
- Evaluate and integrate geological, hydrological and environmental data to develop accurate conceptual models of the site.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs to improve team skills.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- University degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or a similar field.
- At least 7 years' experience in hydrogeology in an open pit mine and an underground mine.
- At least 3 years' experience in a managerial position.
- Hands-on experience in advanced hydrological analysis and numerical modelling applied to underground and surface mining.
- Practical experience using software: AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, Visio, Datamine, Hydrological modelling software.
- Working knowledge of workplace safety management.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
