**Senior Quantitative Analyst - Remote Gauteng**

Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team remotely in Gauteng. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing business analysis, report extraction, and automation engineering support for the CRS Project and IFRS 9 Schedule. Your expertise will contribute to credit risk regulatory reporting enhancements, system coding, process improvement, and data quality. **Responsibilities**:

- Utilize your strong business analysis skills to conduct in-depth analysis and design effective solutions.
- Enhance automation, controls, and data quality to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Generate automated IFRS 9 Schedule, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
- Define field definitions and descriptions for the schedule to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Implement both short-term and long-term solutions to address immediate needs and future requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, gather insights, and document findings for effective communication and decision-making.

**Requirements: To excel in this role, we require**:

- Expertise in business analysis and process improvement, enabling you to identify areas of improvement and drive effective solutions.
- Proficiency in data engineering skills, particularly with SAS and SQL, to manipulate and transform data for analysis.
- Strong understanding of IT system architecture, allowing you to navigate complex systems and processes. ï¸
- Exceptional problem-solving and automation abilities to tackle complex challenges and optimize processes.
- Experience in credit risk calculation and banking regulations to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
