**Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
Develop and execute content ideas and concepts for live and pre-recorded radio programming, including music shows, news segments and talk shows.
Decide on the most appropriate method of executing content by making use of telephone interviews, listener calls, studio guests, social media and other electronic platforms.
Direct and assist the presenter to execute content in a creative and innovative manner.
Ensure that all features in the show maintain their identity when executed.
Provide podcast to the webhost when necessary.
Submit the running order/show preparation for the head programming’s approval on a daily basis before the next show.
Prepare an annual plan for the strategic direction of the show.
Share and communicate show programming with relevant parties in order to avoid duplication.
Arrange and manage special broadcasting events including taking photos, content, interviews.
Receive and brief studio guest, before and after the interview.
Attend debriefing meetings with presenters and programming.
Conduct research on current events, trends and other topics relevant to our target audience and develop content that is insightful, relevant and entertaining.
Work closely with on-air talent to produce compelling and engaging segments that help increase audience engagement.
Edit and produce audio content, including pre-recorded segments, interviews and promos, using Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar audio production software.
Collaborate with other departments, including promotions, sales and digital teams, to develop content that supports station events, promotions and sponsorships.
Monitor and report on audience metrics to optimize content and identify opportunities for improvement.

**Qualifications/knowledge/experience**:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field.
Three + years of experience producing content for radio or other media outlets.
Strong editorial skills with an ability to develop unique, engaging and relevant content for different audiences.
Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools or similar.
A strong understanding of radio programming and the ability to develop and produce compelling content that meets station goals and objectives.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
