This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables; butchering meat; or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Report and follow the executive chef or sous chefs' instructions.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely manner
- Assist in the setup and organisation of the kitchen workstations.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to food safety standards.
