We are looking for an action-orientated, dynamic business savvy team player with excellent mentoring skills to fill the role of Junior Business Support Advisor at our Regional Office in Cape Town to provide support and guidance to ECD (Early

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote and demonstrate value of the App and GROW suite of products and services to ECD centre owners.
- Provide support and guidance to ECD centre owners who adopt the App in the implementation and use of the centre management and business aspects of the App.
- Monitor usage of the App and analyse data and reports to identify and build a robust pipeline of ECD centres for the GROW ECD Small Business Programme.
- Analyse app reports of partner and programme centres relating to centre management and sustainability of the centres.
- Provide centre management and business mentoring to ECD centre owners.
- Provide ECD centre owners with support and guidance with their budgeting processes.
- Conduct compliance checks and audits at ECD centres when required.
- Facilitate financial and centre management skills training for ECD centre owners when required.
- Establish and maintain relationships with DSD/DBE, local government departments and other ECD service organisations to establish a network for referral purposes.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports.

**Requirements and Competencies**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- At least 5 years’ experience within the business sector and ideally also has experience in the ECD sector.
- Business savvy and financial acumen
- Experience and knowledge of financial reporting, budgets, bookkeeping etc
- Solid experience in facilitating training
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and comfortable with technology
- A Driver’s License and must have own transport
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- English speaking, ability to speak IsiXhosa will be an advantage
- Strong people management, development and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Decisiveness, initiative, problem solving and critical thinking skills

**Remuneration: R17000 per month**

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R17,000.00 per month
