**JOB DESCRIPTION - Sports Scientist**

**Minimum Qualifications/ Experience Required for this Position**:

- Bachelor's degree Sports Science (BSportSci) or similar
- Looking for a sports scientist that has a passion for developing specialised programs in line with the principals of sports in medicine.
- 1 year experience working in a Gym/ Fitness environment
- Additional certificates would be an advantage eg: Pilates/Strapping
- Understanding of Microsoft Office
- People orientated person
- Administration skills

- Sound interpersonal skills
- Sound organizational skills
- Must be able to communicate in English/Afrikaans/Vernacular language where applicable
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Good communication skills

- Excellent industry knowledge
- Must be customer service orientated
- Time management skills
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and be proactive
- Motivated and interdependent
- Good knowledge of company product and the services offered
- Be presentable and professional in all internal and external interactions
- Good internal and external customer relations
- Working Smart phone with camera
- Laptop or Tablet
- Must reside in or around the Umhlanga area
