Garment Tech Merchandiser

Engaging with buyers and suppliers to finalise product requirements
- Experience in QA, lab testing and bulk production
- Ensuring that the product meets the agreed timelines
- Managing supplier relations with the factories.
- Managing customer relations; buyers and planners.
- Analysing and directing product ranges to maximize the sales.
- Quarterly travel to source product.
- Sourcing new fabrics and washing techniques to stay current
- in the business.
- Day to day managing of the business, overseeing QA and fittings, fabric qualities, availability and pricing.

Managing timelines and deadlines to achieve
- deliverables.
- Entire Merchandise Cycle management: briefing, costing, sample approval, production management, quality assurance, shipment, delivery & invoicing.
- New business development, sourcing new fabrics & suppliers.
- Seasonal business projections and strategies.
- Briefing new orders, cost negotiations, order confirmation.
- Maintaining good supplier & buyer relations through effective communication and efficient problem solving.
- Training and mentoring of junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Willing to travel
- Ability to negotiate
- Analyse sales history, competitors, trends

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parktown, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
