Draughtsperson

A well-established market and industry leader in the Industrial Engineering & Steelworks Industries, urgently require the services of a competent and self-motivated individual to be appointed in the key position of a Draughtsperson.

**Core Competencies**:

- Strategise and prepare drawings per project.
- Develop construction methodology.
- Design basic connections.
- Conduct site inspections and measurements.
- Create workshop fabrication drawings.
- Finalise erection drawings.
- Conduct self-audit and quality control.
- Issue drawings to relevant parties.
- Assist junior team members where required.
- Provide solutions and assistance for the workshop, site and clients/service providers.
- Attend to client queries.
- Maintain clients’ relationships.
- Effective office administration.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in draughting or at least 5 years relevant work experience.
- Tekla software package knowledge.
- Advanced Autocad experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel).
- Experience in Structural Steel manufacturing, Fabtrol knowledge will be an advantage.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
