Construction Foremen

**CONSTRUCTION FOREMEN**

**Construction Company based in Blackheath is seeking experienced and qualified foremen.**

**industry, together with a proven track record in low-cost housing.**

**Minimum requirements**:

- Experience in low-cost housing essential.
- Good communication and reporting skills, both written and oral.
- Computer literate.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and H&S.
- Strong supervisory and organisational skills.
- Ability to read drawings, work independently and use initiative.
- Valid driver’s license with own transport.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Co-ordinating construction work according to drawings and specifications.
- Produce schedules.
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities; supervise and train workers and tradesmen where necessary; monitor attendance of subordinates.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations.
- Request and distribute materials and equipment as necessary.
- Supervise the use of machinery and plant.
- Monitor expenditure, ensuring it remains within budget.
- General housekeeping of site; conduct daily safety and security checks, report defects.
- Report on progress to management.
