**Job Role**: Product Design Lead

**Introduction**:
**Description**:
We are looking for a skilled Product Design Lead whom will have the opportunity to play the role of player-coach. You will continue to flex your honed set of individual contributor skills, while also cultivating the people growth of a small team of direct reports. We are looking for someone who welcomes the opportunity to nurture quality craft in their people, as well as to demonstrate quality craft through design.

**Start Date**: As soon as possible

**Responsibilities**:
Lead the design of high-quality products that provide measurable value to our clients and end users.
Work closely with product, engineering, research, and other functional areas to help shape the product strategy and vision.
Own and drive the entire design process from early ideation of design concepts to detailed deliverables and production assets.
Advise and help guide user research studies.
Help develop and evolve our design system, Atlas, to be used across platforms.
Evangelize user-centred thinking and the value of design across the organization.
Take ownership and quality check the deliverables of the design team to ensure the outputs meet the project requirements.
Look into ways to continuously improve the design process and daily team interactions to add to the overall quality output of every job delivered by the design team.
Coordinate design efforts across multiple workstreams.
Mentor, train and coach product designers to become high performers in the team.
Build strong relationships and help the team collaborate across the organization.
Contribute to other initiatives for the team.
Manage and coordinate schedules, task timelines and team resources.

Confidence to think about high-level product vision, understand constraints, and contribute to a fantastic user experience.
Solid understanding of the design thinking process, as well as a passion and know-how for influencing design strategy.
Expert knowledge of Sketch and InVision or similar design and prototyping tools.
Have the ability to think big-picture about the high-level user flows, but be a perfectionist about the details of the UI.
Experience partnering with user researchers and cross-functional teams.
Ability to independently seek out feedback and buy-in from the right people at the company in order to keep a project moving and get approvals.
A solid and up-to-date understanding of best practices, developments, and trends in web, iOS, and Android.
Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
A great attitude, collaborative spirit, and openness to giving and receiving feedback.

**Qualification Requirements**:
Bachelors degree

**Work Experience**:
5+ years of product design experience
1-2 years of experience managing people

**Conditions, Qualifications and Experience**:
Other assessments are required for this position. (1) Resume & (2) Portfolio.
5+ years of experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
PS: A portfolio of relevant work is required for consideration. It should illustrate your involvement and contribution to solving specific problems, as well as demonstrate your visual design skills.
A solid and up-to-date understanding of best practices, developments, and trends in web, mobile, Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
Expert knowledge of Sketch or similar design tool.
