The BIM Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across projects. This role involves developing and maintaining BIM standards, providing training and support to project teams, ensuring data and model quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize BIM workflows.

**Responsibilities**:

- BIM Implementation and Strategy:

- Develop and implement BIM standards and protocols.
- Create and communicate BIM execution plans for projects.
- Align BIM goals with overall project and organizational objectives.
- Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Facilitate communication and coordination using BIM tools.
- Training and Support:

- Provide BIM training to project team members.
- Stay informed about BIM advancements and share knowledge within the organization.
- Quality Control:

- Ensure the quality and accuracy of BIM models and data.
- Enforce BIM modeling standards and guidelines.
- Model Management:

- Oversee the development and maintenance of BIM models.
- Implement version control and model coordination processes.
- Data Management:

- Manage information flow among project stakeholders.
- Establish data exchange protocols and ensure data integrity.
- Technology Management:

- Evaluate and implement new BIM tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with IT for BIM workflow infrastructure.
- Conflict Resolution:

- Identify and resolve conflicts related to BIM implementation.
- Foster communication to address conflicts among team members.
- Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with relevant BIM standards and regulations.
- Stay informed about local and international BIM standards.
- Performance Monitoring:

- Monitor and report on BIM process performance.
- Implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Client Interaction:

- Engage with clients to understand BIM requirements.
- Provide updates on BIM progress and address client concerns.
- Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate potential risks in BIM processes.
- Develop contingency plans for BIM-related challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager in construction or design projects.
- Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Leadership and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with local and international BIM regulations.
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management within the construction or design industry.

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month
