**Job Description**:
As a Wedding Specialist, you will be responsible for working closely with couples to understand their vision, preferences, and unique style. Your role will involve coordinating all aspects of wedding planning, from initial consultation to the execution of the event. This includes vendor management, timeline creation, and ensuring every detail reflects the couple's individuality.
**Client Consultations**:
Initiate and conduct meetings with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their preferences, visions, and specific requirements. Present a range of options to clients and guide them in making informed decisions aligned with their wedding aspirations.
**Design and Procurement Assistance**:
Assist clients in the design, planning, and décor, ensuring alignment between the business and client specifications. Facilitate a seamless and tailored planning process that reflects the unique vision of each couple.
**Comprehensive Event Organization**:
Take charge of the entire event planning process, overseeing every detail from inception to conclusion. This includes coordinating, managing guest lists, décor, catering, and hotel accommodations. Ensuring a cohesive and unforgettable experience. Suggest exclusive offerings and upgrades during the event planning process, ensuring clients are aware of premium options available for venues, catering, and other elements. Tailor recommendations based on the client's preferences, showcasing the additional value these upgrades bring.
**Client Communication and Updates**:
Maintain open lines of communication with clients, providing regular updates on the planning progress. Keep clients informed about decisions, developments, and milestones, ensuring their involvement and satisfaction throughout the planning journey. Regularly update clients on planning progress and take the opportunity to introduce premium offerings or enhancements that align with their evolving vision. Maintain open communication about the added value and benefits of choosing certain upgraded options.
**Trend Awareness**:
Stay abreast of current wedding trends to provide informed recommendations that enhance the client's overall experience. Offer innovative and on-trend ideas to elevate the uniqueness of each wedding celebration.
**Staff Training and Management**:
Train and manage staff effectively in the lead-up to, during, and after the event. Ensure that all team members are well-equipped to execute their roles seamlessly, contributing to the overall success of the wedding.
**Vendor Coordination with Upselling**:
Collaborate closely with vendors, emphasizing the importance of delivering a premium experience. Negotiate special packages or exclusive offerings that can be presented to clients as value-added services.
**Problem Solving**:
Proactively identify and troubleshoot unforeseen challenges or obstacles to maintain the smooth flow of the event, adhering to established schedules and minimizing disruptions. Use problem-solving situations as an opportunity to suggest premium solutions that can overcome challenges and enhance the overall quality of the event. Present these solutions as valuable enhancements rather than merely addressing issues.
**Vendor Coordination**:
Communicate with third-party vendors to secure dates and outline requirements. Foster positive relationships with vendors to ensure collaborative success in executing the event.

**Salary: Market related**
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or similar field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a wedding coordinator/ Wedding events management
