**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding account inquiries and discrepancies
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and collections, and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Reconcile monthly statements and prepare financial reports for management
- Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Ad-hoc duties as required

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software and systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

**Education and Certification**:

- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant accounting qualification/certification
