Aftercare Centre Principal

Daily management of staff, driver, tutors and learners.
General purchases of items such as stationery and clothes for learners for school, sports and chores.
Handling of D6 program and coordination between the school and parents.
Purchases of sports items and assistance with essentials for sports days.
Assistance with entrepreneur days at schools.
Help with schoolwork and purchases of materials for it if necessary.
Assistance with aptitude tests for high school students.
Arrange and coordinate camps for learners.
Assistance with social issues affecting learners and involving external help where necessary.
Meet with school teachers to discuss learners if necessary.
Transport learners with their own car to extracurricular activities, as needed.
Celebrate learners’ special days.
Maintain good relations with learners’ parents and provide assistance such as necessary.
General maintenance of the aftercare center.
Manage the aftercare center’s business plan and budget.

**Qualifications**:
Education qualification.
At least 10 years teaching experience.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with good communication skills.
Must be available to work Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 17h00, as well as overtime before and after working hours, on weekends and during school holidays such as necessary.
Purposeful, patient and enthusiastic to work with learners.
Good at crisis management.
Driving license and PDP (code 8), with own transport.
