Catering Technician

**THE JOB AT A GLANCE**

As a Catering Technician. You will be responsible for performing an efficient and effective support function to the company in respect of catering services.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Preparing boardroom with tea, coffee and water
- Up keeping of kitchen equipment
- Making tea for executive management
- Catering for visitors
- Receiving ordered food from caterers for meetings and serving accordingly
- Cleaning of kitchens
- Filling up water during meetings
- Preparing the boardroom and meeting rooms with cups / mugs, tea/coffee, water and biscuits when required
- Up keeping of kitchen equipment
- Stock taking of consumables
- Catering for visitors
- Setting up tables accordingly for arranged lunches
- Checking the coffee machines every two hours and emptying the residual coffee and waste water from the machines
- Checking the level of coffee beans and milk in the coffee machines regularly and replenishing when finished
- Checking and reporting any malfunctioning or disorder of the coffee machines immediately
- Replenishment of water during meetings in the boardroom and in meeting rooms
- Perform Reception/Switchboard relief services
- Completing requisition form for consumables when done and get it signed by supervisor
- Cleaning of kitchens and boardrooms
- Preparing food ordered for special occasions and serving
- Removal of all dirty cups from the boardroom and meeting rooms before finishing time everyday
- Ensuring that the coffee machines are left in good order and clean for the next morning everyday
- Buying of items for visitors when required

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE?**
- Grade 12
- At least 1 year related work experience
- Good verbal communication skills
