**Requirements**:

- Red Seal Trade Tested as a Boilermaker
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker in the steel industry, specifically in plate rolling, plate bending, and plate bevelling
- Strong knowledge of plate rolling and bending techniques, including the use of relevant machinery and tools
- Proficiency in plate bevelling methods and equipment for achieving precise and accurate bevels
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate them into accurate fabrication and installation processes
- Familiarity with welding processes and techniques used in plate joining and assembly
- Excellent measurement and mathematical skills for ensuring precise dimensions and alignments
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy plates and operate machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Effective communication and teamwork skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine the required dimensions and configurations for steel plates
- Operate plate rolling and bending machines to shape and form steel plates according to project requirements
- Use plate bevelling tools and equipment to create bevels and chamfers on steel plates for proper fit and weld preparation
- Measure and mark reference points on plates for accurate positioning and alignment during installation
- Utilize cutting and welding tools to trim plates to size and join them together as per design specification
- Inspect plates for any defects, such as cracks or warping, and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Collaborate with a team of boilermakers, welders, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including measurements, material usage, and any issues encountered
