A client that supplies and distributes bulk petrochemicals and fuel products across Southern Africa is looking for a Operations Controller to join their team. Based in Ballito.

**Requirements**:

- Matric is required
- Relevant Diploma/Degree will be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years work experience
- Operations background will be added advantage
- Oil and Gas experience will be added advantage
- Needs to be able to read and write
- Drivers License
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Excel and Word Skills
- Quick to analyse requests and take
- Shows integrity, tenacity, resilience and adaptability in complex situations
- Ability to prioritise work according to importance and level of urgency
- Ability to handle pressure and commit to and respect deadlines
- Displays strong planning, organizing and administration skill
- Constant upskilling

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Ensuring smooth operations
- Liaising with transporters
- Liaising with suppliers
- Liaising with customers
- Getting daily updates from Transporters and communicate this information accurately to customers
- Allocate product loads to transporters
- Assisting with Vehicle logistics
- Report on a daily basis which vehicles/loads are available, en route to customers or delivered
- General office administration
- Collating transport rates each month, printing and giving to the CEO
- Ad hoc tasks as determined by the CEO
- Available daily from 06h00 - 20h00 to deal with customers and transport issues
- Cross Border documentation and operations - importing to RSA and exporting to SADAC region
- Send 2 x WhatsApp updates to customers every day (incl Sat and Sunday)
