**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Activities
- Constantly validate the physical inventory per location is accurately reflected in the LN ERP system
- Weekly audit of all stock location that includes the in Dispatch department
- Daily audit cross-checking of the following key deliverables by close of business;
- Storemen have receipted all stock into the system as per documentation
- All manufactured finished goods have been correctly receipted and signed off by the 3rd Party Transporter
- All Production Orders have been completed and WIP stock returned to stores
- Storeman have diligently cross-checked the returned stock and updated the LN system.
- Recording of scrap as per company standard procedures.
- All returned product has been reported and correctly documented
- Submitting daily reports to the Factory Manager by close of business
- Audit weekly cycle count locations as per the defined procedure and submit signed-off reports to the Inventory Manager
- Validate that 5’s principles are being adopted in the department
Safety, People Management, Reports and Service Level Agreements
- Ensure that all areas and personnel under your jurisdiction adhere to the OHS Act and Greif’s international Safety Standards.
- Manage performance of 3rd party Warehouse, Despatch and logistics service providers, with Service Level Agreements including adherence to group policies (including physical security, stock counts and reconciliations, FIFO and maintenance of quality).
- Compile and submit accurate Key Reports using LN and KPI/BIC reports as per applicable schedule and advise Logistics Manager of any serious stock concerns.
Warehousing and Delivery Management
- Custodian of all FG stocks to ensure they are securely and appropriately stored in order prevent loss, theft, deterioration or misappropriation of stock items; and that stock records
- are accurately maintained.
- Manage the warehouse and key transporters effectively to avoid disruptions to customer delivery by signing SLAs and operating a performance management system to track transport planning effectiveness.
Delivery Planning (transactional), Scheduling and Performance
- Review the ERP Delivery Note and Invoices generated for each delivery and investigate any variances or discrepancies identified. Ensure warehouse team process all manual delivery notes.
- With Key Accounts and Internal Sales ensure that customers with consignment stock are properly accounted for and invoiced correctly before month end.
Quality (Warehouse, Returns, Recalls and COAs)
- Inform quality and production supervisor if line FG are not meeting the stipulated standards immediately. Reject and raise a non-conformance if FG or components do not meet stipulated standards in the warehouse.
- With quality and line supervisors ensure that Certificates of Analysis are fully completed for customers that require and request them.

III. Expertise and Experience and Education
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an integrated Logistics or Supply Chain environment within Manufacturing warehousing and dispatch.
Manufacturing environment advantageous
**Education**:
Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
Appropriate tertiary qualification in Logistics and procurement
Languages:
High level of spoken and written English; ability to converse in other languages an
Advantage.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft office essential / Good understanding of ERP systems.
